2. Admission tickets cannot be purchased for children under the age of 3. Children under 3 are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult. One adult may accompany a maximum of four children under 3 years of age. If more than four children under 3 are accompanied by one adult, the standard child admission price applies to each additional child beyond the fourth.
3. Children under 1 year of age may use the rides without a Ride Pass when accompanied by a paying person aged 14 or over. Please note that certain rides may have safety restrictions and minimum height requirements.
4. Admission tickets are scanned from a mobile phone or printed ticket at the entrance to Tivoli Gardens. If you have purchased a Ride Pass, this can be collected from the self-service machines inside the Gardens by scanning your ticket. Ride Passes may also be collected from the staffed ticket offices.
5. Admission tickets and Ride Passes are issued as bearer tickets. They are not issued in a specific name and may be used by whoever is in possession of the ticket or pass.
6. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to restrict access to the Gardens on certain days or at certain times, even if a valid ticket has been purchased. If such restrictions are introduced without prior notice and are of a significant nature, a refund may be requested by contacting Tivoli by email at info@tivoli.dk.
7. During the summer season, special admission rules apply on Fridays with Friday Rock concerts. Children and young people under the age of 16 may only enter and remain in the Gardens after 17:30 if accompanied by an adult aged at least 25. One adult may accompany a maximum of four persons under 16. These rules do not apply to adults accompanied by children under 8 years of age. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to verify age and accompaniment and may refuse entry to, or remove, guests who do not comply with these rules.
The rules apply regardless of ticket type or Tivoli Pass. Different admission prices apply depending on time of entry: admission before 18:00 and admission after 18:00. Tivoli Gardens is dedicated to ensuring a high-quality concert experience for our visitors. For selected Friday Rock concerts, pre-booked access may be required and may be subject to a fee. For particularly popular concerts, access to the Gardens may be closed earlier in the evening once the maximum capacity has been reached.

Tickets may only be exchanged for a date within the same calendar year. For further information on ticket changes and exchanges, please contact Tivoli Guest Services at info@tivoli.dk.
10. Tivoli Gardens cannot be held liable for misuse of tickets, including (but not limited to) cases where multiple copies of the same barcode have been printed, where the barcode was not issued by Tivoli, or where the ticket has been used by a person other than the intended holder.
11. Please note that the redemption of food vouchers may, without prior notice, be restricted if dishes are sold out or restaurants are fully booked. If no alternative redemption options can be offered within two hours, the food vouchers will be refunded.
12. When using a Ride Pass, all safety requirements and restrictions must be complied with at all times. Guests must also hold a valid admission ticket or Ride Pass to access the rides. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to suspend ride operations in the event of technical or operational issues.

C. Tivoli Pass
1. General terms for the Tivoli Pass and Tivoli Lux
1.1. All Tivoli Passes grant access to Tivoli Gardens during all seasons in which Tivoli is open. Opening seasons, opening days, and opening hours may vary and be adjusted on an ongoing basis; however, pass holders are guaranteed a minimum of 200 opening days per calendar year.
1.2. A Tivoli Pass may be purchased either as:
1.2.1. a subscription with annual payment, or
1.2.2. a fixed-term pass with an expiry date (the current month plus 11 months).
1.3. The following types of Tivoli Pass are available:
1.3.1. Tivoli Pass: The Tivoli Pass grants admission for the pass holder only. The pass is strictly personal and may not be used to admit anyone other than the pass holder.
1.3.2. Tivoli Silver Pass: The Tivoli Silver Pass allows the pass holder to bring one guest free of charge per day. This applies only when entering together with the pass holder, and the guest must be a business associate, family member, colleague, or friend of the pass holder.
1.3.3. Wild Card: The Wild Card grants admission for the pass holder and includes one free Ride Pass for the pass holder per visit (maximum one per day). Ride Passes are personal and may not be resold. Any breach of this condition will be regarded as misuse of the Tivoli Pass, cf. clause 1.9.
1.3.4. Tivoli Gold Pass: The Tivoli Gold Pass allows the pass holder to bring up to four guests free of charge per day in total. This applies only when entering together with the pass holder, and the guests must be business associates, family members, colleagues, or friends of the pass holder.
1.4. Tivoli Passes are sold as digital products. A physical Tivoli Pass may be purchased for an additional fee of DKK 30.
1.5. All Tivoli Passes are strictly personal and may only be used by the pass holder. The pass holder is responsible for ensuring that the pass is not misused. Use of a Tivoli Pass by anyone other than the pass holder will be regarded as misuse and will result in the pass being confiscated. Such misuse may lead to legal action, as Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to claim compensation for any loss incurred. Confiscated passes will not be returned, and no refund, whether in whole or in part, will be issued.
1.6. If the pass holder has purchased a Tivoli Pass, it is their responsibility to complete the registration via the link to their My Tivoli profile, which is sent at the time of purchase. The pass can also be completed in person at the Tivoli Service Centre, Vesterbrogade 3, 1620 Copenhagen V. Further details on the completion procedure are set out in clauses 2.8 and 3.5.
1.7. Free admission to Tivoli Gardens is granted during all seasons in which Tivoli is open upon presentation of a valid Tivoli Pass. If a valid pass is not presented, the pass holder must pay the standard admission fee, which is non-refundable. If a Wild Card is forgotten, the pass holder must also pay the full price for a Ride Pass.
1.8. If a Tivoli Pass is lost, Tivoli Guest Services must be contacted immediately on +45 33 15 10 01 or in writing at tivolikort@tivoli.dk, after which the pass will be blocked. If the pass is used by another person before it has been blocked, this will be regarded as misuse and the pass will be confiscated. Confiscated passes will not be returned and will not be refunded. Lost or damaged passes may be replaced for a fee of DKK 30.
1.9. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to confiscate a Tivoli Pass without prior notice if Tivoli considers that the pass holder has acted fraudulently or improperly in or towards Tivoli, has behaved unacceptably towards other guests, staff, or property in Tivoli, or has failed to comply with Tivoli’s current Gardens Regulations or instructions issued by Tivoli staff.
1.10. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to restrict a pass holder’s access on certain days or at certain times, including through advance reservation. Such restrictions may be necessary for safety reasons or due to events taking place within or outside the Gardens. In these cases, the pass holder is not entitled to any form of compensation or reimbursement, unless the restriction or closure results in fewer than 200 opening days in the relevant calendar year.
1.11. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to cancel or amend its published music programme, to which pass holders have access at no additional cost, including Friday Rock concerts. Cancellations or changes to the music programme do not entitle the pass holder to a proportional refund, termination of the Tivoli Pass agreement, or any other form of compensation.
1.12. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to designate parts of its concert areas for special events and concepts, for which separate admission fees may apply.
1.13. Tivoli Gardens may charge a fee for seat or access reservations for selected events (including Friday Rock concerts). The fee is charged to cover Tivoli’s administrative costs and expenses. The amount of the reservation fee depends on the event and typically ranges from DKK 10 to DKK 40. The specific fee will be stated at the time the reservation is made. Tivoli reserves the right to introduce fees for services other than reservations. Any such fees will be introduced for the same reasons and at the same level as reservation fees. The introduction of new fees will be notified in accordance with these terms and conditions. Fee amounts may be adjusted annually in line with changes to the consumer price index.
1.14. On Fridays with Friday Rock concerts, special access rules apply: young people under the age of 16 may only enter and remain in the Gardens after 17:30 if accompanied by an adult aged at least 25. One adult may accompany a maximum of four persons under 16 years of age. These rules do not apply to adults accompanied by children under 8 years of age. Tivoli reserves the right to verify age and accompaniment and may refuse entry to, or remove, guests who do not comply with these rules. The rules apply regardless of ticket type or Tivoli Pass.
1.15. In the event of official prohibitions or recommendations requiring Tivoli Gardens to close or restrict access – for example due to extraordinary health, safety, or similar considerations – the pass holder is not entitled to any form of compensation or reimbursement, unless the restriction or closure results in fewer than 200 opening days in the relevant calendar year.
1.16. All Tivoli Passes may be purchased online at tivoli.dk, in person at the Tivoli Service Centre, or at Tivoli’s entrances.
1.17. Tivoli Lux
1.17.1. Tivoli Lux is a benefits programme that offers additional advantages and discounts to holders of a Tivoli Pass.
1.17.2. To make use of these benefits, you must have:
1.17.2.1. a valid Tivoli Pass registered in your own name and carried with you, and
1.17.2.2. downloaded the Tivoli app and created a personal My Tivoli profile to which your Tivoli Pass has been added. You can create your My Tivoli profile via the Tivoli app or at www.tivoli.dk/mit-tivoli/login. Benefits under Tivoli Lux can only be redeemed via the Tivoli app.
1.17.3. Access to Tivoli Lux benefits is linked to your valid Tivoli Pass in your My Tivoli profile and is therefore strictly personal. The benefits may under no circumstances be sold, transferred, inherited, refunded, exchanged for cash, or used for any purpose other than within the Tivoli Lux programme, unless otherwise stated by Tivoli Gardens.
1.17.4. The pass holder is responsible for ensuring that their Tivoli Lux benefits are not misused. Examples of misuse include fraudulent use of benefits, theft or attempted theft, or unacceptable behaviour towards Tivoli staff. Misuse may result in permanent suspension of the pass holder’s access to Tivoli Lux and/or confiscation of the Tivoli Pass. Misuse of a Tivoli Pass, including Tivoli Lux benefits associated with the pass, may lead to legal action, as Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to claim compensation for any loss incurred as a result of such misuse. Confiscated passes will not be returned, and no refund, whether full or partial, will be issued; see the general terms and conditions for Tivoli Passes. In severe cases, Tivoli Gardens may deny the pass holder future access to Tivoli.
1.17.5. Each individual Tivoli Lux benefit may be redeemed in accordance with its own specific terms and conditions regarding availability and redemption. The applicable terms and conditions for each benefit are set out in the benefit description in the app.
1.17.6. All types of benefits are subject to availability and may be amended at any time by Tivoli Gardens.
1.17.7. We endeavour to ensure that the benefits and discounts included in the Tivoli Lux benefits programme are accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that all benefits displayed in the Tivoli app are always available at every individual restaurant, café, stall, shop, or similar outlet. Each benefit is therefore subject to availability at the relevant provider.
1.17.8. Benefits included in the Tivoli Lux programme cannot be used in combination with other discounts, vouchers, or special offers, unless otherwise stated.
1.17.9. Tivoli Gardens reserves the right to amend the terms of the benefits programme and to discontinue the Tivoli Lux programme entirely. Any significant or burdensome changes to the terms, as well as termination of the programme, will be notified with one month’s notice. All benefits may continue to be used during this notice period.
1.17.10. Please note that certain benefits may be subject to age restrictions. Any attempt to circumvent age requirements will be regarded as improper use of the benefits programme, cf. clause 1.16.4.
1.17.11. If you are the legal guardian of a person under the age of 18 who has access to Tivoli Lux, you are responsible for ensuring that the minor complies with the applicable terms and conditions. You are also responsible for the minor’s use of Tivoli Lux benefits and discounts.
1.18. Any questions regarding the Tivoli Pass or Tivoli Lux should be directed in writing or by telephone to:

2. Tivoli Passes purchased as subscriptions
2.1. Tivoli Passes purchased as subscriptions are taken out as ongoing subscriptions, paid in advance for one year (annual payment) at a time. cf. section 2.2.
2.2 A Tivoli Pass purchased on subscription is valid for the month in which it is purchased and the 11 subsequent months. The first month is paid for in full regardless of the date of purchase.
2.3. The validity period for a Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription begins immediately if the Pass is bought in person. This applies even if the Tivoli Pass is purchased in a period when Tivoli is closed. A different start date may be selected for Tivoli Passes purchased via Tivoli's digital channels.
2.4. An agreement on the purchase of a Tivoli Pass as a subscription can be entered into only by persons who are over the age of 18 and legally competent.
2.5. Tivoli Passes can be purchased at Tivoli Service Center, on Tivoli.dk and via the Tivoli app. The purchaser will be informed of the current Tivoli Pass terms and conditions, which the purchaser must accept. The Pass can be completed at Tivoli Service Center and online via Tivoli.dk.
2.6. You can purchase a Tivoli Pass on subscription for other people. The payment obligation will be linked to you as the Administrator.
2.7. Tivoli reserves the right to charge a set-up fee.
2.8. Completion
2.8.1. If the Passholder is not the same person as the Tivoli Pass Administrator (the person liable for making payment), a link will be sent to the Passholder. The link contains instructions for completing the Tivoli Pass on My Tivoli. The Administrator will receive an e-mail with a link to My Tivoli, where the remaining payment information is to be filled in.
2.8.2. The Passholder completes the Tivoli Pass by creating a profile on My Tivoli. The Passholder must, in this connection, create a password and upload a picture of the Passholder. The picture of the Passholder will be stored with a view to admission control. When the Passholder visits Tivoli, the photo is displayed on a screen visible to attendants at the entrance. The Passholder must show proof of identity on request. While use of the Tivoli Pass is not contingent upon Tivoli collecting and keeping a portrait photo of the Passholder, Passholders who do not wish to have a photo registered are always obliged to produce photographic identification at the entrance to Tivoli. The Passholder's name may be changed in person at Tivoli Service Center provided the Passholder's name is correspondingly changed in the Danish National register (Folkeregistret). The Passholder's photo can be changed if Tivoli deems that the Passholder's appearance has changed significantly. The Passholder must also register their payment details for use in ongoing payments. The Passholder may revoke permission for amounts to be charged regularly to the payment card unconditionally at any time. The Passholder's payment obligation will remain in force, however, after the Passholder has revoked their consent. Should the Passholder wish to be released from the payment obligation, the subscription must be cancelled in accordance with the conditions in section 12.
2.8.3. The physical Pass can be made electronic at a later date if the Passholder adds the Pass to Tivoli's app. The Tivoli Pass can also be printed out.
2.9. Payment
2.9.1. For Tivoli Passes purchased on subscription, payment must be made at the time of purchase for the first year in which the Tivoli Pass is valid. Payment for the following year will be due between the 22nd and 26th day of the month after the current month + 11 months. Should payment fail to go through, Tivoli will attempt to charge the card again on either the last day of the current month or the first day of the following month.
2.9.2. Payment for the first 12 months of the Tivoli Pass must be made when the Tivoli Pass is issued, regardless of whether the Pass is activated immediately or later in time, cf. the options regarding this on tivoli.dk or in the Tivoli app.
2.9.3. The subscription can be paid with a payment card, credit card or MobilePay.
2.9.4. When payment for a new period is charged, the Passholder and Administrator are notified (the latter only if the Passholder and Administrator are not the same person) via My Tivoli.
2.9.5. If the ongoing payment for the Subscription is not made at the agreed time, a reminder will be sent to the Administrator of the Tivoli Pass via the contact information supplied. A reminder fee of DKK 100 may be added in accordance with the Danish Interest Act (renteloven). The Pass will be blocked until valid payment data are received and payment has been made. The delay is considered significant if payment has not been made within 3 months of the due date, and Tivoli can then decide to cancel the Passholder's subscription agreement.
2.9.6. See applicable prices on Tivolis website here.
2.9.7. Notification regarding price changes will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided at least 45 days before the price change comes into force. Read more about amended terms and conditions in section 2.13.
2.9.8. If the Passholder has had a valid Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription within the past 12 months, Tivoli reserves the right to charge a set-up fee if the Passholder once again wishes to purchase a Tivoli Pass.
2.10. Termination
2.10.1. Tivoli Pass purchased as subscription can be terminated, at the earliest, with 1 months’ notice until the end of a month, when five months have passed since the start of the Subscription (“Early Termination”), cf. section 2.10.2 and 2.10.7 below.
2.10.2. If the Tivoli Pass is terminated, the subscription agreement will terminate at the time when the prepaid subscription period expires, unless Early Termination has been requested, cf. section 2.10.7 below. The Tivoli Pass can be used in the period up to the end of the subscription period and will not be resubscribed thereafter.
2.10.3. Tivoli Passes purchased as subscriptions must be actively terminated and cannot be suspended.
2.10.4. A subscription may only be terminated in writing via My Tivoli (web or app) or e-mail to Tivoli's Call Centre, tivolikort@tivoli.dk.
2.10.5. Failure to pay is not considered termination.
2.10.6. The Tivoli Pass Administrator may terminate the Subscription for the Passholder if payment is the responsibility of the Administrator.
2.10.7. Requests for Early Termination pursuant to clause 2.10.1 must be submitted in writing to Tivoli's Call Centre at tivolikort@tivoli.dk.
Upon receipt of a request for Early Termination, Tivoli will refund the prepaid subscription fee for the full months following the termination of the subscription agreement, cf. clause 2.10.1, plus 25% of the price of the Tivoli Pass, which will be charged pursuant to section 29(2) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.
The refund is calculated as the annual price of the Tivoli Pass divided by 12 months, plus 25%, and then multiplied by the full months following the termination of the subscription agreement. As a rule, the refund will be made to the payment card used to purchase the Tivoli Pass.
2.10.8. Tivoli reserves the right to adjust prices during the commitment period. Read more about this in section 2.13.
2.10.9. The receipt for termination will be sent by e-mail to the Tivoli Passholder and Administrator (the latter only if the Passholder and Administrator are not the same person).
2.11. Amended terms and conditions
2.11.1. Tivoli has the right to adjust prices during the subscription period. Prices may change due to increases in the consumer price index for the preceding year. Prices may also be changed if this is the result of increases to Tivoli’s costs, e.g. in connection with higher costs associated with Tivoli’s operation, including costs relating to suppliers, costs relating to the accommodation of new requirements from the authorities or legislation, to accommodate rising inflation, and as a result of amendments to the subscription terms and conditions for or content of the respective Tivoli Passes.
2.11.2. Tivoli may continuously make changes to Tivoli’s product range, including, but not limited to, the various subscription types, Tivoli Passes (annual passes), entrance tickets, ride passes, etc., as well as make changes to the content and the terms that relate to the products, when such changes are justified by Tivoli’s commercial or strategic decisions, legal requirements or the like. Product content and terms can e.g. relate to amusement access and age requirements.
2.11.3. Price increases and significant changes will be notified directly and individually to the provided e-mail address no later than 45 days before the change takes effect. At the same time, the Card Holder / Administrator is given the opportunity toto terminate the subscription agreement before the change takes effect.
2.11.4 Changes to these Tivoli Pass Terms and Conditions will also appear on Tivoli's website www.tivoli.dk.
2.11.5 Tivoli reserves the right to terminate a Tivoli Pass subscription, also during the binding period, in the event of general termination or changes to subscription types or Tivoli Pass types, or e.g. on the basis of commercial or strategic decisions, legal requirements or the like. . Terminations will be notified no later than 45 days before the change takes effect. Prepaid Tivoli Passes will be refunded proportionately.
2.11.6 Should Tivoli terminate a Tivoli Pass subscription during the binding period, cf. 1.11.5, and the Administrator has purchased a physical Tivoli Pass, the cost of this will then be refunded.
2.12 Upgrade
2.12.1 You can upgrade your Tivoli Pass at the Tivoli Service Center. The price for upgrading is calculated as the difference between the daily price of your current Tivoli Pass and the daily price of the new Tivoli Pass, multiplied by the number of days remaining until your next renewal. At your next renewal, you will pay the full price for the Tivoli Pass you have upgraded to. Please note that it is not possible to downgrade a Tivoli Pass or to merge multiple Tivoli Passes.
2.13. Right of cancellation
2.13.1. Your right to cancel your purchase of a Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription extends for 14 days. For Tivoli Passes purchased on subscription with a deferred start date, the right of cancellation applies until the start of the subscription and for a minimum of 14 days. The right of cancellation lapses if the Tivoli Pass is used, including if the Passholder uses the Tivoli Pass to gain admission to Tivoli.
2.13.2. If a Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription is upgraded, the right of cancellation period for the upgrade, cf. 2.13.1, applies from the time of the upgrade, provided that the upgraded Tivoli Pass has not been used.
3. Tivoli Passes for a set period
3.1. When purchasing a Tivoli Pass for a set period, the buyer may choose the month from which the Tivoli Pass is to apply, up to a maximum of two months after the purchase date. The Pass will be valid for 12 months.
3.2. A Tivoli Pass for a set period is valid for 12 months from the month chosen by the buyer for it to become valid. This applies even if the Tivoli Pass is completed at a later date, and even if Tivoli is closed during the purchase period.
3.3. A Tivoli Pass without registered payment information expires after the prepaid period of 12 months and is therefore not a subscription. The Passholder may convert or renew the Tivoli Pass so that the Tivoli Pass has the nature of an ongoing subscription.
3.4. Passes purchased for a set period and via BTB sales are valid from the set start month and the following 11 calendar months, after which they expire, unless a subscription is registered before the expiry date.
3.5. Completion
3.5.1. Tivoli Passes for a set period must be completed via Tivoli's app, Tivoli.dk or in person at Tivoli Service Center. A Tivoli Pass is complete when the Passholder has added their name and a personal portrait photo to the Pass.
3.6. Payment
3.6.1. Tivoli Passes may be purchased with a payment card, credit card or MobilePay. Tivoli Passes may also be purchased with cash.
3.6.2. When paying for a Tivoli Pass for a set period, the buyer pays in advance for the entire agreement period, i.e. 12 calendar months.
3.6.3. See applicable prices on Tivolis website here.
3.7. Amended terms and conditions
